  Our Leadership 


Chairman, CEO and Global Ambassador, Robert Passage was born into the beauty industry. His father, Leo Passage founded Pivot Point in 1962. Today, Robert is a licensed cosmetologist, a licensed cosmetology instructor and holds a degree in business from Loyola University. In his roles, he guides Pivot Point International and continues to expand his father's vision and legacy. Robert is an active industry advocate serving on many boards, including American Association of Cosmetology Schools, Cosmetologists Chicago and Beauty Changes Lives. In 2011, he received the N.F. Cimaglia Award for his achievements in promoting cosmetology education for more than 25 years.
Senior Vice President of Finance and Internal Operations, Robert Sieh has been with Pivot Point for 24 years. Sieh oversees the operations and finances of the company, developing and applying new systems, procedures and documentation company-wide, while strategizing for success over the short and long term.
Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development, Kevin oversees the Pivot Point brand and is responsible for all marketing and product positioning efforts. He brings a strong background and experience from his time as Senior Director of Global Brand Management for KAO Corporation, where he established an admirable trajectory leading global marketing and education initiatives for professional brands for 16 years, including  KMS California and GOLDWELL. He instituted a North American training facility that was both commercially driven and highly advanced in curriculum and training methods. Additionally, during a rotation with KAO Germany he created the first-ever Global Communications and Product Education Department for GOLDWELL.
Vice President of Domestic Sales & Field Education, An industry sales veteran, Miller joined Pivot Point from PRAVANA Corporation, where he served as Director of Sales-Midwest. His previous sales positions include admirable accomplishments at East Coast Salon Services, The Wella Corporation/Sebastian International, Matrix Essentials, and Kenra Corporation. As Vice President of Domestic Sales and Field Education, Miller oversees the Pivot Point brand and is responsible for all sales efforts with schools, salons and corporate clients.
Vice President of International Business Development, Jan’s focus is to lead the direct distribution businesses, Pivot Point UK and Pivot Point Germany, as well as support all international Pivot Point distributors. Jan is a fifth-generation hair designer whose roots are in the Netherlands. After attending a Pivot Point school in 1980, Jan became a freelance trainer for Pivot Point in 1986. In 1988 he left his native country and in the next 5 years he traveled the world for Pivot Point, teaching, training trainers, and performing in shows in 50+ countries. In 1996, he became the Director of the International Division at Pivot Point Chicago. From 2000 – 2005 Jan was CEO for Pivot Point International Inc in the USA. In 2005 Jan returned to Europe, before taking on his current role in 2008.
Pivot Point Director of Human Resources, brings 25 years of expertise in recruitment, hiring, performance management, employee relations, leadership and teamwork, and benefit administration to the company. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Katy spent the last 20 years with Playboy Enterprises as Director of Compensation and Benefits. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She is currently preparing for her exam for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification.
