The Pivot Point 1500-hour Cosmetology program provides you with the tools, training and resources to get you started as a platform artist, salon owner or celebrity stylist. Through training and guidance, you’ll be armed with the exact skills, techniques and knowledge needed to succeed in one of today’s most in-demand professions.

Hair will become your canvas as you learn all aspects of your craft. Our courses include:

• Theory of Design

• Avant-garde updos

• Styles & textures

• Color Theory applications

• Perm design

You’ll go beyond hair design and explore esthetics and nail technology. Study the art of makeup and its application as it relates to the basic esthetics of the face. Practice manicures and pedicures as well as artificial nail enhancements.

In addition to the technical and practical knowledge you need to succeed and gain licensure, you’ll learn how to effectively engage with your clients and build confidence working with clientele and retail in the Pivot Point Salon.
