Pivot Point grad and master colorist, Karen Marie Vanoni, pursued her dream as a colorist after beauty school and over the years received advanced training through Vidal Sassoon, Wella and L'Oreal Paris, to name a few.
Karen recently opened the eco-friendly Karen Marie Salon in Bucktown in November 2009, where she shares her passion for great hair with her stylists!

Painting the city pretty, one by one, four Pivot Point Academy students performed over 85 professional mini-manicures as part of Pretty City's Beauty Sample Sale Event on October 21, at District Bar in Chicago. With over 500 guests in attendance, Pivot Point's mini-manicures were a huge hit and the list was booked through the night within the first hour of the event!

Participating from the Evanston Academy were Jackie Harlan, Lewie Saluta, Tara DelGuidice and Johana Zuazo.

Donna Hazley, International Academy Master Educator and Student Teacher, Jeannie Rexilius, accompanied the students.
