We are seeking a motivated, dependable International Administrative & Communications Associate to work in our Evanston, IL location. As a key member of the international team, you will have extensive communications with our international clients and customers. You will be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, planning meetings, and handling customer communications. Additional administrative duties include: processing expenses, preparing invoices, coordinating artist bookings and contracts, managing files. You will have a significant impact on our international customers, and be responsible for cultivating and maintaining these valued relationships.
Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum 2-3 years related experience. Bilingual English – Spanish. Extensive experience managing international travel itineraries and meeting planning. Required advanced computer skills include MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. Experience with Netsuite preferred. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, flexibility, and integrity. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team and establish positive working relationships is a must. A strong customer service background is absolutely essential. The candidate must occasionally lift and/or move 30 pounds. While performing duties the employee is regularly sitting, talking, hearing, and engaging in repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement. The candidate must have the ability to read and interpret documents accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with international customers by phone, email and fax.
- Maintaining ongoing international relationships; providing support and resolving problems for customers.
- Creating and managing complex travel itineraries, meetings, and related activities for international executives and customers.
- Coordinating administrative details for educator trainings, workshops and tradeshows.
- Entering customer orders correctly and efficiently.
- Interacting with warehouse, marketing, and other departments to facilitate fulfilling customers’ needs.
- Promptly and accurately adjusting complaints concerning billing or services rendered, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation.
- Preparing confidential correspondence, sales reports, invoices, and other complex documents accurately and efficiently.
- Handling administrative duties for the department, including: distributing mail, filing, faxing, processing forms, preparing reports and auditing documents.

We are seeking a Guest Services Associate to work at our Evanston, IL Academy location. Guest Services works closely with the Salon Manager to cultivate an exciting and professional salon environment for our customers. We are looking for a candidate with superior customer service skills and a professional, courteous attitude! Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, dependable individual, with experience in a beauty/spa environment.
Candidate Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume retail, beauty/spa or service environment is preferred. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are a must. Required computer skills encompass MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Internet/Intranet. We are seeking a motivated, dependable Student and Financial Services Associate to work in our Chicago, IL location who will be committed to providing excellent educational and financial services to our talented student body. We are looking for an energetic candidate with a passion for education who will mentor students and guide them to success!
Candidate Qualifications: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum 1-2 years related experience in financial aid or student services in a school setting. Experience in financial assistance using a clock hour program is highly preferred. The candidate must be present for all student orientations for each new class start, which may require working more than 40 hours per week. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining an environment that retains customers through strong customer care, retail sales and a unified understanding of the company vision.
- Supervising all salon operations with Academy Director to ensure achievement of sales goals, business objectives and profitability.
- Training all Bloomingdale Academy staff and students on customer service and retail needs as appropriate.

Responsibilities include:
Educational Consultant Development
- Recruiting, hiring, and training Educational Consultant resources
- Inspiring and empowering Educational Consultants to be more productive by modeling, teaching and reinforcing brand-defining behaviors in day-to-day activities, as well as key client education events.
- Creating twice annual professional development opportunities (liaising with Education and research team) to strengthen presentation and technical skills PPI terminology, and sales skills
- Partnering with the Director of Strategic Alliance to assess sales and education opportunities
- Developing a comprehensive plan to orientate, develop and retain Strategic Alliance partnerships through targeted placement of product and education
- Coordinating Pivot Point International representation and efforts at trade shows and events to support brand awareness and drive education message.
- Creating and document Education team SOP to increase effective and efficient use of resources, both financial and personnel.
- Partnering with Account Managers to create and execute annual education plans for key Member School clients across the Domestic market
- Serving as a role model, coaching Educational Consultant behaviors that drive education and sales objectives and brand through teaching educational workshops around the Salon Success module of Designer’s Approach.
This position is based in Evanston, IL, with significant domestic travel (40%-60%). It is expected that the Education Manager will reside in the Chicago land area. A car and valid driver’s license is required.
In addition to having a minimum of six months directing teaching experience within a school environment, and an active cosmetology license, qualifications include:
- Minimum of five years in an outside sales and education role within the beauty industry
- Strong managerial and communication skills with the ability to coach and train
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate problems, think ahead and offer proactive solutions
