Ethics is at the cornerstone of everything we do. We believe in doing what’s right, not just for our products but our entire ecosystem—from our manufacturing processes, education development or sustainability initiatives; integrity drives every decision we make.
In the manufacturing of our hair products, we hold ourselves to the highest standards. From sourcing raw materials to the meticulous crafting of our products, each step is executed with commitment, ensuring the quality of our goods matches the well-being of the artisans who create them.
But our dedication to ethics doesn’t stop with hair products. We’re champions of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, as well as sustainability, within our products, company, and the beauty industry at large. With us, you can rest assured knowing we’re dedicated to doing what’s right.
Cheap mannequins may be made at the expense of workers’ rights. Each of our hair-manufactured products proudly displays the SA8000® tag. This certification solidifies a commitment to human rights and ensures that:
Ever wonder how our mannequins are made? There are many steps that include cuticle smoothing, bathing, conditioning, drying, hackling, mask makeup, implantation, and much more. This carefully executed process gives you the most realistic educational experience possible!
" Our moral compass must continually guide decision-making, including our commitment to lead with integrity. "
Pivot Point proactively implemented SA8000® certification at our hair-manufacturing factories to ensure the quality of goods matches the well-being of the artisans who create them. SA8000® certification solidifies a commitment to human rights by guarding against the use of child and forced labor, discrimination and unfair disciplinary practices, working hours and compensation.
Look for the SA8000® tag on all of our hair-manufactured products. The SA8000® certification affords our partners the confidence that our educational hair goods are produced in sanctioned conditions free of known health and safety hazards.
Pivot Point collaborates closely with trusted suppliers that are committed to responsibly sourcing raw hair. Authorized vendors enter a written pact for transparency on origin, documentation, and donor treatment.
The following assurances include collecting and sourcing hair only from countries that authorize individuals to sell or donate their hair. The raw hair is donated or sold willingly and collected from living donors who are fairly compensated. We also ensure that hair is not collected from donors in prisons and that the donors are treated with respect and care.
